These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the supply of cleaning services by On Call Carpet Cleaning (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you, the customer (“you”, “your”). By booking or accepting our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Quotes and pricing
- Quotes are based on the information you provide — room counts, surface and fabric type, condition and access. They are estimates and remain valid for [30]days unless stated otherwise.
- If actual conditions differ materially from what was described, such as heavier soiling, additional areas or difficult access, we may revise the quote. Any change will be discussed with you before additional work proceeds.
- Prices are quoted in Australian dollars and [include / exclude]GST as indicated on your quote.
2. Bookings and access
- A booking is confirmed once we agree a date, time and scope with you.
- You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work areas, including parking, running water and electrical power where required.
- Please move or clear small, fragile or valuable items before we arrive. We are happy to move larger furniture by agreement, but we are not responsible for items not disclosed to us or for pre-existing instability or damage.
3. Cancellations and rescheduling
- We ask for at least [24/48]hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booking.
- Cancellations made with less than [24]hours’ notice, or non-access on arrival (“lock-outs”), may incur a fee of [$ amount / %] to cover travel and reserved time.
4. Payment
- For residential and one-off services, payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed.
- For approved commercial and strata accounts, invoices are payable within [14 / 30]days of the invoice date.
- We accept [EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, bank transfer and PayID].
- Overdue accounts may be subject to suspension of service and reasonable recovery costs.
5. Our satisfaction guarantee
- We stand behind our work with a 100% re-clean guarantee. If you are not satisfied with any area we have cleaned, contact us within [7]days and we will return to re-clean the affected area at no charge.
- The guarantee covers our cleaning workmanship. It does not extend to stains or damage that cannot be removed by professional cleaning (see clause 6).
6. Results, stains and limitations
- We use professional methods and will always advise you of likely results before we begin. However, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of every stain or odour. Some marks are permanent due to fibre damage, dye reaction, age, previous treatment, or the nature of the substance.
- Pre-existing wear, fading, shrinkage, colour loss or latent defects in carpets, fabrics, rugs or hard surfaces are not caused by our cleaning and are outside our control. Where there is a risk — for example with delicate or antique items — we will discuss it with you first.
- Drying times are estimates and depend on fabric, ventilation, temperature and humidity.
7. Insurance
- We carry public liability insurance. A certificate of currency is available to commercial and strata clients on request.

8. Liability and Australian Consumer Law
- Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
- To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to re-supplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from inaccurate information you provide or from pre-existing conditions of the items cleaned.
9. Photographs and marketing
- We may take before-and-after photographs for quality and record-keeping purposes. We will only use identifiable images for marketing with your consent, and we will not publish details that identify your property.
10. Privacy
- We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
11. Governing law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
12. Changes to these Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website.
